The first true magnetic USB-C port? Microsoft says the Surface Laptop Ultra has one, and it's strong enough the cable practically plugs itself in! It uses magnets instead of latches, and the port is tapered, which means it won't stay plugged into gadgets without Microsoft's magnet pattern. But the cable's reversible so you can plug the magnet end into the charger or laptop and use the normal USB-C end on other stuff. Microsoft says it's patenting the idea.
