Such is the story of Lars, a former police officer from Munich. Together with his wife, Sandy, he packed up his life and moved to the remote island of Colonsay, off the coast of Scotland. The catch? Only 120 people live there!
But Lars and his family are excited about such a radical change. He says he grew tired of how hostile people in the city had become. After almost being killed while on patrol, he knew it was time to leave.
Sandy grew up on Colonsay, where her father runs an oyster farm. Lars hopes to take over the business when his father-in-law retires. But he's still got plenty to learn!
