Bigorexia, or muscle dysmorphia, is a growing concern among young men. No matter how much muscle they build, many never see themselves as big enough.
As SARMs and anabolic steroids become easier to find online — often marketed like ordinary supplements and promoted across social media — they've become increasingly visible to young men. More are taking serious risks in pursuit of the "ideal" physique, and some have paid for it with their health.
One statistic is particularly striking: steroid dependence rates are estimated to be higher than heroin, cocaine, or alcohol.
