Three workers from Guatemala were detained by ICE during a September 25 raid at Chile & Chili’s Taqueria in Tallahassee, Florida. Security footage captured workers scattering from agents before being handcuffed and escorted away. According to local reports, the detained individuals were in the midst of finalizing their immigration paperwork, while the remaining legal immigrant staff subsequently quit out of fear, forcing the business to temporarily shut down. In response, the owners launched a GoFundMe to support the detainees' families, and local organizations organized a protest rally.
