Kodak could not find a single thing wrong with the photograph. No fake, no double exposure, no trick of the light. The negative was genuine. That was the problem.
Because the photograph showed a spaceman standing behind a five year old girl on an empty English marsh, and the man who took it swore nobody was there.
For 60 years the case beat everyone who tried it. The police, the newspapers, the UFO hunters, even the professor who solved most of it in 2012. Every explanation died at the same detail. The helmet.
The answer was hanging in the sky the whole time.
