The couple who climbed to the top of the Empire State Building spoke out after they appeared in court Thursday. The 32-year-old man said he wanted to do “something special” for their engagement. Both face multiple charges and court records show they likely broke a lock on a security door to access the restricted 104th floor which leads to the antenna they climbed.
