Rescuers in Venezuela pulled a 43-year-old security guard from a shopping center’s collapsed basement on Thursday, eight days after two deadly earthquakes struck the county. It took more than 100 hours to free him and rescuers say the man initially told them not to tell his wife he was alive in case he didn’t make it.
