Chris Hansen Reviews Robert Pattison’s ‘Primetime’ Portrayal as He Hits Back at Unauthorized Biopic

Chris Hansen exclusively chats with ET’s Kevin Frazier ahead of the new movie, ‘Primetime,’ hitting theaters on Sept. 25. The film, starring Robert Pattison as Hansen and inspired by his former NBC series, 'To Catch a Predator,' is not an authorized biopic. To reclaim his own story, the journalist bought ad space for his streaming network, TruBlu, ahead of each and every showing of the movie in the US. Hansen breaks down why that pricey move felt necessary (it reportedly cost him $100K!) and explains why he refused to see an early screening of the flick.
