Waste companies say charging a deposit for vapes of up to £5 could reduce littering as well as encouraging people to recycle them properly.

The government banned single use vapes a year ago, partly because they can cause fires if they're thrown away with general rubbish.
But vape makers have managed to develop cheap new devices which essentially get around the ban.
