Meta Faces New Youth Social Media Addiction Lawsuit After $1B Loss

After a New Mexico court ordered Meta to pay nearly $1 billion for its role in harming children and teens online, the social media giant is heading back to court. This time, Meta will face attorneys general from four states who allege the company knowingly designed Facebook and Instagram to be addictive, especially for teenage users.
