Hayden Panettiere’s Mother Shares First Comments

According to a heavily redacted incident report on Hayden Panettiere’s death, both her on-again, off-again boyfriend Brian Hickerson and his brother Zach were present when police arrived on scene. Meanwhile, Panettiere’s mother Lesley Vogel speaks out for the first time, telling NBC exclusively in a phone interview, “Hayden sadly lost her way and I wish it were different. I wish she had stayed true to herself because she had many incredible attributes.” NBC News correspondent Steve Patterson reports for TODAY.
