What's actually inside an AI agent? Pretty much every one is built from the same five pieces. The model is the brain (Claude, GPT, DeepSeek, or a local model). The tools are the hands (running code, browsing the web, reading files, sending messages, plus MCP and CLI tools so you can plug in almost anything).
Memory lets it track what it already did. The interface is how you talk to it (web dashboard, terminal, Telegram, desktop). And last, where it actually runs, a VPS or locally, which might be the most important choice of all, and one to make before you deploy.
