Is the AWS Certified AI Practitioner worth getting? Since AWS is still the largest cloud on the planet, the badge is recognized by basically any company with a cloud bill, which is most of them. The exam covers AI and machine learning fundamentals plus the generative AI layer, prep is a doable 30 to 40 hours for most people, and it's valid for up to three years.
The honest downsides: it's multiple choice, so it proves knowledge rather than ability, and it's AWS-flavored, so some of what you learn is tied to their ecosystem rather than being a fully transferable skill.
