
More than 4,000 deaths recorded in DR Congo Ebola outbreak
The number of people who have died in the Democratic Republic of Congo's latest Ebola outbreak has now passed 4,000. That's almost half of the 8,300 confirmed cases.

The outbreak, announced on 15 May, is the fastest-growing outbreak in history. It's caused by the rare Bundibugyo virus, which has no known treatment or vaccine.
