The Chancellor Rachel Reeves has criticised the US for going into the war in Iran 'without a clear exit plan', describing it as a 'folly'.

In one of the most direct attacks on America's actions from a government minister, Ms Reeves said she was very "frustrated and angry" at the impact of America's actions on families in Britain and around the world.
Before the war, the UK had been predicted to see inflation fall, but prices are now expected to rise more quickly.
