Bill Oddie, the songwriter, comedian and wildlife presenter, has died aged 85.

He rose to fame as a member of the comedy trio The Goodies, co-writing and performing the 1975 top five hit Funky Gibbon.
A conservationist, Oddie later became one of Britain's best-known wildlife broadcasters, fronting programmes including Bill Oddie Goes Wild and Springwatch, inspiring generations to connect with nature.
