Polk County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a suspect identified as Jeffery Daniels after he allegedly tried to evade police by hiding under a blanket. Deputies found him in his home, sitting straight up in a chair with a blanket draped entirely over himself. Daniels failed to appear in court on outstanding criminal charges including battery, petty theft, and resisting without violence.
