Alex Murdaugh’s Lawyers Address How They Get Paid

Exclusive: Alex Murdaugh's lawyers, Dick Harpootlian & Jim Griffin, address how they get paid: "There's no more money left. But when you do this work, ... you got paid for a job and the job's not done, so."
Murdaugh plead guilty in 2023 and 2024 to multiple counts of financial crimes and was sentenced to decades in prison. His murder convictions being overturned have no bearing on his guilty pleas for state and federal financial crimes.
