2026 Emmys: Stephen Colbert's Wife Evelyn HATES His Post-Late Show Beard! (Exclusive)

Stephen Colbert chats with ET's Nischelle Turner at the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards, airing live on NBC and Peacock on Monday, Sept. 14. Stephen, who is nominated for Outstanding Variety Series, has grown out his beard since the final episode of 'The Late Show' in May, and his wife, Evelyn, hates it! He explains why he's 'at peace' with the cancelation of his show and plays coy about a trip to New Zealand as he prepares to co-write 'The Lord of the Rings: Shadow of the Past.'
