Former SNP chief executive Peter Murrell has been jailed for five years and three months after he admitted embezzling more than £400,000 from the party.

Murrell, who's the estranged husband of former first minister Nicola Sturgeon, used the money to buy cars, kitchenware, hairdryers and other goods.
The judge at Edinburgh's High Court said his offending increased in frequency and amount over time and was a "significant breach of trust".
