For years, British sheep farmers have relied on seasonal migrant workers for the shearing of their livestock. Up until last year, when a special visa was introduced, shearers could come to the UK on a visa-free system.

However, the government has decided to end the visa scheme, saying that Brits should be trained in the specialty instead, leaving farmers concerned they will have nobody to shear their sheep next summer.
