President Trump stated that the U.S. does not believe a Russian lab worker's recent death from an unestablished pneumonia was caused by a bioweapon. Speaking from the Oval Office, Trump noted that Moscow claims the situation is under control and is beginning to share information with U.S. officials, with a call between him and Russian President Vladimir Putin scheduled. The remarks follow assurances from Russia's health regulator that there is no epidemic risk in Siberia, though the incident has drawn international concern.
