Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy has written an open letter to Russia's Vladimir Putin - urging him to take part in face to face talks to end hostilities - and declaring "you can stop your war".
The Kremlin said Mr Putin would be briefed on the proposal later today.
This morning four people were killed and seven others injured near the Ukrainian capital Kyiv after Russian drones hit a baby food factory.
