The Duchess of Sussex has said she was informed by police in 2018 about "disturbing allegations" against her estranged father.
Her statement followed reports claiming that images of child sexual abuse had been allegedly found at Thomas Markle's former home in the Philippines.
The Duchess described the claims as "deeply distressing".
In an interview with the Daily Mail, Mr Markle said the accusations were "sick lies" and denied possessing any images of child abuse.
