Andy Burnham says UK is open to closer ties with EU

Days before the UK budget and the Prime Minister Andy Burnham has steered the political debate back towards Brexit.
He says he wants an "honest discussion" about a new relationship with, or even rejoining, the European Union. Including, possibly, a return to freedom of movement.
But the rise of Marine Le Pen's right wing National Rally party in France is raising eyebrows here about Andy Burnham's warm overtures towards the EU.
