Kemi Badenoch has proposed welfare reform that would block long-term unemployed claimants from spending government benefits on alcohol, cigarettes, and gambling.

The Conservative leader announced the 'Back to Work' payment card during her speech at party's conference. Badenoch also announced there would be no out of work benefits for anyone 'straight out of school or university' and that the 'best welfare is a well-paying job'.
