
Canary Islands leader rejects plan to dock hantavirus cruise ship there
The leader of the Canary Islands is refusing to let the Atlantic cruise ship hit by the deadly hantavirus dock at Tenerife.

Spain's prime minister had initially said the MV Hondius should travel to the Canaries.
It was confirmed this morning that a British man and two other people have just been evacuated from the ship which has been stationary off the coast of Cape Verde.
The outbreak currently stands at seven identified cases and there have been three deaths.
