Supporters of the assisted dying bill in England and Wales are trying for a second time to get it passed into law, with a vote in the House of Commons due later this week.

Labour MP Lauren Edwards has revived a Private Member’s Bill, which was blocked by the House of Lords last time round after a handful of peers tabled a series of amendments.
This time, the vote appears to be on a knife-edge.
