More than 2,700 people in England and Wales are thought to have died from heat related causes in May and June during the extreme temperatures.

Experts from the Met Office and two London universities who compiled the figures said most of those deaths happened in June, during exceptionally hot weather.
The sweltering conditions are set to continue this week as firefighters also tackle wildfires across Wales and parts of England.
