Across the country, the tinder dry conditions have seen firecrews having to deal with numerous wild fire outbreaks.
The Royal College of Nursing has warned that hospitals and care homes are getting so hot, they aren't just causing difficulties for patients, and even some of the nursing staff are passing out while on shift.
And this latest heatwave, made more extreme by fossil fuel pollution, is not just causing problems for humans; zoos are also having to adapt to care for their animals.
