Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected the 15-point peace plan for Gaza drawn up by Donald Trump’s US-led Board of Peace.

But an official on the board has insisted the plan is still "very much operative", according to the Reuters news agency.
Netanyahu’s rejection comes as the prime minister faces a heated contest in Israel's elections in October and insisted the Israeli military would not withdraw from any territory until Hamas was disarmed.
