But there’s a growing backlash against Meta’s smart glasses amid evidence that some users are secretly filming women without their knowledge or consent.

Some venues in the UK have already banned them, although Meta insists the glasses have tamper-proof privacy features including an LED light which comes on whenever someone is filming.
