As the clock ticks down to the end of the current ceasefire in the Middle East, preparations have been underway for another possible round of ceasefire talks in Pakistan. But it's not clear whether the two sides will turn up.
It follows escalating tensions as the naval blockade in the Strait of Hormuz continues and a US navy shot at and boarded an Iranian cargo ship in the Sea of Oman which Iran called an act of "armed piracy".
