Jumper by Third Eye Blind is such a satisfying song to play, and the chord voicings are what give it that warm, open sound. The main part is built around F major 7, C major, and G, but the way the G chord is voiced here is the move that really makes it sing. Shift the middle finger up and add the pinky on the third fret high E, and suddenly it has that lush, ringing quality from the original recording.
Letting the high E ring out through the F major 7 is the other detail that keeps the whole progression feeling connected and smooth. Three chords, but they sound like so much more than that.
