“Green River” by Creedence Clearwater Revival is pure swampy blues rock guitar, and in this lesson I break down the signature parts so you can lock into that groove.
The whole thing lives in the key of E and pulls almost everything from the E minor pentatonic and blues scale, so once you’ve got these licks down you’ve got a whole vocabulary of that CCR sound.
Once you get these main ideas under your fingers, you’ll have plenty to jam with along with the recording.
