But Iran's parliamentary speaker has warned that if hostilities restart, Iran has "new cards on the battlefield".
While the United States is reportedly preparing to send a team led by Vice President JD Vance, Iranian officials have insisted they will not negotiate under the "shadow of threats" posed by the ongoing naval blockade.
