Bees sustain far more than honey production as their silent work drives the genetic exchange that keeps fields, forests and entire food webs alive. From the early almond bloom of Mallorca to apiaries pushed into remote mountain reserves and even to Chinese orchards now pollinated by hand after the disappearance of insects, the documentary reveals a world whose balance is faltering. Inside each hive an extraordinary super organism coordinates dances, journeys and metamorphoses while outside climate change, habitat loss, invasive predators and the widespread use of pesticides push pollinators toward collapse.
